Women Matters

About Me

Meet Laura

Hello, my name is Laura Cutrone and I am a registered Social Worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I am also a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I completed my undergraduate degree at York University, where I double majored in Psychology and Sociology. I completed my Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and have worked in the helping field for 15 years.

I offer accessible and secure counselling services via phone or video, in the comfort of your own home. I work with women experiencing various struggles such as infertility, pregnancy loss, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I further support women undergoing or exploring IVF and surrogacy.

My therapy draws on my own personal experience of having grown up with a physical disability as well as having experienced primary infertility and pregnancy loss. I am no stranger to the heartache that comes with navigating the complexities and challenges life brings us.

I work from a culturally sensitive, person centred, strength based, and solution focussed perspective. My approach utilizes evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness-based intervention.

While life can be beautiful, it is not without it’s challenges. With challenges comes resilience and strength. I am passionate about helping you achieve your goals and discovering the solace of understanding as we navigate the highs and lows of life together.

Please do not hesitate to reach out by phone or email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.

She was unstoppable. Not because she did not have failures or doubts, but because she continued on despite them.
